Looking through my art journals (and I've kept pretty much every one I've owned) I see that between each journal my style changes.
Now, one may say it is only natural for one to improve, or add(/subtract) to ones style.
However, this is not it.
My style can change dramatically. This doesn't include when I made the conscious decision to stop trying to draw manga.
This is an unconscious decision, where I stop my proper sketching for a few weeks/months, and when I buy a new journal, I cannot draw in the same style.
Therefore, it is interesting for me to look at my journals, or between different pictures as it would be easy to mistake them for different artists.
So my question is... Do you think this is a bad trait to have?
I'd be interested in what you have to say about it.
